💥 Former ERC grantees Stefano Valentino was awarded the Lorenzo Natali Prize along with Emanuela Barbiroglio for their article entitled European green finance is paying for deforestation in Indonesia: the case of Michelin
Ian Urbina and his team’s latest investigation in partnership with The New Yorker, includes reporting on the extensive use of forced labour and environmental crimes in the global seafood supply, and specifically within China’s distant water fishing fleet and processing plants. The revelations have already resulted even before we published in a congressional hearing being scheduled about the findings and the CEO of a major seafood company resigning due to what we uncovered.
